Agreed and it seems like PKs are recorded however the ref on the day writes it up....you'll see games recorded as 4-2 that were actually 0-0 as that how the PKs went.....very common error a lot of people complain about and with good reason

Yep. My DDs game during the wind storm on Sunday ended 0-0 somehow and we won by PKs 4-3 and it was recorded correctly 1-0.

We have the opposite happen to her team in The Vegas Cup earlier this year. We played one of the many Slammers team in the semi-finals and the match ended 0-0 and Slammers won on PKs 3-1 and that’s how the recorded the game. Since my DD is the keeper, it looks like she had an awful match with 3 goals allowed when actually she had a shutout just like the other keeper. That still bugs me to this day.

It’s changed now to 2-1. My error. Oops! ⚽️
 
The girls played their last game of this season until March. They are 9-0-0 with 40 goals for and 1 goal against. According to the league website we are in second place. The league website is ranking based on total points and not points per game; some teams have played more games than DD's team. Girls are playing well, but not to their full potential yet. Coach is doing a good job, and the girls are developing. Every team we play seems very intent on taking it to us, and brings a lot of energy, but right now the girls are very good defensively. It’s a very good team. I am sure they would compete very well in any league (DA, ECNL, CRL)...

Hi!! Not sure if any moms/dads from San Diego Soccer club ... the team my daughters team (legends south)!played in the finals in flight 1 league... but wanted to shout out to the parents of the tall blonde mid girl... she bumped heads on a header with my daughter and after said “I’m so sorry. Are u ok?” ... So nice and I’m really hoping that girl is ok. Unforntaly we have a concussion over here and some facial drooping... Uugh!! But they got the trophy. Lol

In the world of bizarre the team my daughter has guest played with in 3 tournaments will be playing our team this Saturday in a tournament. :eek:
 
Following up we beat them 1-0 in great game that could have went either way. Funniest moment of the day was when I saw one of the moms and she said "Oh, is your daughter playing keeper for us today?" and I said "nope, she is playing against you" and seeing the reaction on her face was priceless. Fun afternoon.
 
Looks like we will be missing state cup. Daughter broke hand 4 weeks ago playing basketball, hoped to be healed 2/12, but looks like she will be out another 8 weeks. Will xray again in 4 weeks and while he didn't recommend her playing, she possibly could, but chances to re-break are great.
 
Hope you guys are disliking the injury. We won't take the chance of injuring the hand to just play state cup unless the hand is completely healed and the orthopedic surgeon releases her. We played a game this past Saturday and my daughter lent out her keeper gloves to the girls and warmed them up before the game.

Norcal parent chiming in here. The Norcal board is like crickets so I jumped on this board.

Injuries are always back news but I’m glad it’s only a hand injury and she still can train and build up her leg strength. Honestly it’s better to have an injury now than later. As parents we always worried about our dd’s getting injured. Hope she has a speedy recovery. Daughters season starts next week here in Norcal against the 05 Quakes. What a tough way to start the season. Girls should be pumped on both sides.

Lastman!! Any where any time. I’ll always make room for a beer or just bring cold beers in a cooler to you and just hang. We might be so nice to each other after the game. That’s going to be a fun game aswell.
