But
@Grace T. says masks don’t work. And what about those at nursing homes and long term care facilities? Is it your expectation that employees who work there can (and should) effectively eliminate any possibility of transmission? And how about older people who don’t have children to rely on or live with? And even for those who do, should they increase the risk of death by moving in with their kid and soccer playing, school attending grandchildren, or should they increase the risk by living alone but going out to Target and the grocery store to get essential items so they can, uh, eat. What about those who live in different states than their kids? Should they get on a plane with a bunch of sniveling soccer players and their bar hopping daddies coming home from Surf Cup, or should they continue to live alone?
Seriously, your schtick about what older people should and shouldn’t do has no basis in reality.
