Games of the week....

What coaches of "academy" teams?

Real da academy coaches know that scrimmages with outside league teams are not permitted during the season.

Are you a slammer's Homer for a reason?

Yes it can happen but only if you are a MLS Affiliated youth soccer club like,
La Galaxy San Diego
La Galaxy Bakersfield
La Galaxy South Bay and so forth

I might be a bit off topic here but just pointing out that you post like a monkey fucking a keybord and your tard' rage over being called a whore makes no sense at all.

I never knew God can get so mad, da mouth da mouth stinkie

People he reported me early on to Dominic saying i am speaking bad about his mouth and toilet paper. True words will never die. Lol at him

It's funny listening to you guys treat academy teams as if they are on another pedestal, and acting like you know what you're talking about, when it's patently obvious that you've never even seen Slammers Godinez play. Or if you've seen them play, you haven't seen this year's post-Cerritos Cup edition which added a star striker and midfielder from the u12 Slammers and added an incredibly gifted left winger after Cerritos Cup to an already loaded core.

Unlike most of of you, I have actually seen the teams I'm talking about. I'm sure at some point the academy teams are going to get tired of playing the same 4 or 5 local teams and will scrimmage Slammers Godinez. When you have seen them play, come back and talk. I'm not gonna waste time conversing with someone who says "Team X" is better than Slammers Godinez when he hasn't even seen them play.

I stand by my opinion that Slammers Godinez and Galaxy Academy are the two best teams in the 03 age group, my only qualifier being from what I've seen thus far. I also stand by my statement that academy coaches have told me that Slammers Godinez is the best 03 team.

First beat Galaxy and then you could say you guys are the best team...

Nonsense statement. DA teams are in their own universe now. The only time Galaxy and Slammers will meet is in a scrimmage arranged by the coaches. I just don't see that happening.

JJP, would you kindly let us know what club your boy plays for?

I don't hold academy teams on a pedal stool, merely asking why you think of Slammers so highly.

According to your own post Slammers is 4th tier in the "hierarchy in the SoCal soccer world" for boys If those players are as good as you say thing will leave because slammers has nothing to offer them but CRL or SCDSL. which are now diluted and not even as strong as CSL anymore. Maybe the Strikers will take a couple of them or they can drive to LA and tryout for LAFC in 18-19' when they go full academy.

Slammers is mostly known as a girls club and doesn't have or has ever had a strong boys program.

When you play 2nd rung tournaments, beat mostly "2nd teams" in league and CRL that's good for what its worth.

Look at him trying to ask some simple question. Like he's a saint. Laugh at him.

Either way I don't understand why you guys are so worried about who's better..

How many players on Goudinez is getting recognized by the US National team or the Mexican Nation Team?

The Slammers are very good but there is no way this team will stay together in my opinion. There's always those parents that care more about being recognized than being developed.
For example. Slammers had a kid that was good. The dad decided to take the kid to Pateadores which is not as good as Slammers right now. He left because he would rather play for an Academy rather then play for a club team. This Kid had a bright future with Carlos and now he will be a rotation player on Pats.. This was a very bad decision that the father made.
This is why Slammers won't last. No loyalty from parents who Carlos helped develop. Unless Carlos gets the LAFC partnership like the Girls did then Slammers will have to find big time sponsors to keep this team together..

I'll give credit to Carlos he's a great coach and he still plays soccer at a high level. He shows by example. He coaches College and has made a huge impact on a lot of kids.
"From The streets to wearing Cleats"
"From being a crook to reading a book"

If you only knew where some of these players come from you would have way more respect for Goudinez.

Goudinez is a funded team that is funding less fortunate players with low income families. This is the only team that can claim this.

TFA claims to keep the kids out the streets and collects a lot of money for it. More than half of the TFA players are not from the streets. Most of them are above middle class. At least last year it was.

TFA funded but not many poor kids
Galaxy funded only a few poor mostly well off families
GSA 10 percent low income players
Goudinez 95% low income. The 5% went to pats to spend 2k a year.

So you tell me who is really making the difference???

Well said, they are team to root for sure.
For certain it will be difficult for him to retain that squad, there's several really great players on that team... WHEN will they begin to get poached. That's the question.
