GA U11-U12 Platform

The GA instagram account just announced a U11-U12 platform for fall 2026. This seems like shots fired at ECNL. Surely ECNL will respond or already has similar in the works?

Unfortunate that it will put pressure on kids to leave their local clubs who don't have GA even earlier and water down local leagues.
 
It seems from the link provided to apply any team can apply, doesnt have to be from a GA club. Seems like just an attempt to move younger teams into their ecosystem and make it seem like GA and pre-GA is "the pathway".

This was predicted long ago, and the endgame is that ECNL and GA/MLSN will eventually take on so many teams and so many levels at so many age groups that a new "elite" super league will spring up with a fancy-sounding name and all the big, rich clubs will switch to that "elite" league. Seeing that those big, rich clubs are forming their own "elite" super league, another "elite" league will spring up for the other big clubs who feel left out of the first super league and they will come up with an equally amazing name for their league.
