Certainly an argument can me made for a few of those Baker Blues teams of yesteryear. Let's keep in mind that not all top teams played in ECNL during those years. I'm def not discrediting them because they were amazing.
Baker trained the HBK 07's on many occasions & certainly during the buildup to ECNL Playoffs.

Surf 2011’s now with back to back National Championships.
Kind of an off year for Surf—only 2 ECNL National titles this year. 3 National titles last year.

If your daughter is good enough to get playing time at Surf, the exposure is unbeatable. The numbers don’t lie. Senior national team call ups, YNT call ups, ECNL National Championships, college recruiting connections, coaching, facilities, Surf Cup, and Surf challenge all contribute to the brand.

The winner for COTY for this past season is Slammers HBK. Winners 2 out of the last 3 years.

The largest factors that kept Surf from B2B were the 07’s not making the playoffs & the 08’s early exit in playoff group play.

Regular season results from all age groups. # of teams qualifying for playoffs (all age groups).
Extra points for advancing to Quarters / Semi's / Finals / National Championship
All those things have a point value associated with them.
