We have a good thing with Sami and jason Heth. hope this doesn't mess things upIt was just announced today on Social Media that he has joined Albion EC.
The Liverpool, Hotspurs, United, OVC, Crusaiders saga starts anew. Only the names have changed; Rebels EC, Albion EC, Legends SD, Sporting USA California South..We have a good thing with Sami and jason Heth. hope this doesn't mess things up
East County is in a difficult position. Any players that are good commute to the coastal clubs with $$$ and resources. The Liverpool, Hotspurs, United, OVC, Crusaiders saga starts anew. Only the names have changed; Rebels EC, Albion EC, Legends SD, Sporting USA California South..

At the same time local club leadership tends to implode on itself every couple of years which reinforces the trend of latent looking elsewhere.
And as you noted it's been this way for a long time.
I think if we had the fields then we could get EA and GA at Albion East County. They would never move the mlsnext team east. As for EC Surf/Rebels, I don't think theyll be adding any high level teams. Can't trust the management if it is staying within the old EC Surf pecking order. The top teams will still be down south for Rebels/Rebels ECThe situation will be different if EC has either ECNL or MLS.
East County does not have a field problem. Compared to many areas near the coast, East County has a fields advantage. East County also has the players. The only reason East County dosen't have GA or ECNL at this point is an orginizational/managment problem with East County coaches and parents interfering with team orginization. East County could have GA and maybe even MLS Next at this point, but the opprotunity was pissed away. Check out this older thread, that explains alot of what happened. Currently the whole process is starting over with different club names, and different coaches, same leadership: https://socalsoccer.com/threads/rise-and-fall-in-the-east-east-county-urf.20870/I think if we had the fields then we could get EA and GA at Albion East County. Are all four flight 4 B2016 teams going to go to Rebels too? LOL. Talk about a money grab...I saw a post about a week ago talking about EC Surf switching over to the Rebels banner. Not sure if it is true, but it sounds like the East County clubs have decided to get into the same hat change game as the Temecula/Murrietta clubs/teams.
