Can a player rostered to a DPL team (not pilot--just DPL) be released to go to a team that plays in SCDSL? Or do they have to stay with the team until the end of the DPL season which is June?
 
You want to look up the Cal South rule. Because the DPL is a Cal South league and CSL and SCDSL and Presidio are all Cal South leagues you need to comply with Cal South and the relevant league rules on transferring. Practically speaking a player in Cal South/DPL is in the Cal South system, so a transfer from Cal South/DPL to Cal South/SCDSL would occur within the Affinity system. You need to look here:
