Does the “vote” on SY really matter now after Skip’s post?

Saw this on LinkedIn today. Isn’t he being presumptuous? Or is the vote just a formality? Are we skipping the vote? “Once passed….”??

No pun intended.

Looks like they decided not to decide yet, which means the current rules are in place for at least the rest of this year --

"The next U.S. Soccer Board of Directors meeting is November 22, 2024. We expect this topic to be on the agenda for that meeting and, consequently, a formal and public decision made by the end of the calendar year."

USL also has a youth arm (Super-Y). Not yet heard from are NFHS (high schools) and NCAA/NAI (colleges).

Coaches and DOCs right now...

Ha! In 2017 i think we were all saying exactly what a majority of these current parents are. it was never needed. However, we all survived and our kids played and adjusted. teams changed, and players will always come and go. this topic is more of a smoke screen in light of the ncaa and the major consequences of the lawsuit and what is coming. if you know, you know. i would much rather have the problem be by or sy versus will there be wsoc or msoc in the the next few years. the college soccer landscape is going to have major upheaval along with the rest of the non revs. the change isnt always great.
