Surf up 1-0 on Beach, both teams giving each other space, good game to watch.
I.E. Surf 1-0 Galaxy - SD, off the counter. Game similar to the Surf Cup match up, Galaxy with possession and I.E. relying on the counter.
Galaxy - SD very quick moving the ball.
Galaxy - SD very quick moving the ball.
I.E. Surf 2-0, defender header deflection off a cross, striker pushed it in.
Galaxy SD scores, great cross by Lightning Reds daughter, ball struck in off the cross, low left corner.
Surf 1-0 Beach at half
Blues - Kale 0-0 Arsenal SD at half
I.E. Surf 2-1 Galaxy SD at half
Blues - Kale 1-0 Arsenal SD, 2nd half
Galaxy SD 2-2 I.E. Surf, off a corner.
I.E. Surf 3-2 Galaxy SD, free kick bomb. Some confusion in the box, ball went over and in after a bounce.
Blues - Kale 2-2 Arsenal SD
Surf 3 - Beach 0 - surf is quality! They took advantage of the opportunities.
Saw parts of this game, it came down to urgency. Surf was connecting quick combos forward and relentlessly attacking. Beach was more methodical and reset all the way more often and put themselves in predicaments.
I thought both teams played well, but Beach was more in marathon mode versus sprint. If they stick to the style of play, trust me it will get a lot quicker and scarier to defend against.
Arsenal kept their momentum from Surf Cup going today, they should be a team to watch the rest of the way.
