City SC East County

Only 2 boys from that Rebels NPL team came over to the u14 team. But he did pick up at least 3 or 4 of his former (younger) 2012 EA2 boys who were finishing out their season with Albion.

Interesting, I thought there were only 2 or 3 younger 2012 EA2 boys and they were offered to play up at U15 EA at Albion to keep that core group together. Those families must be pretty loyal to MM.

It’s likely I heard wrong then about the Albion crew. Maybe they were from one of the other 2012 east county Albion teams.

He has jasons’s son, who was/is older
Then a forward who is a younger and quite good

Think that is all the EA2 kids.

The rest should be the flight 1 team, includinga player who decided not to play EA after joining EA2 late in the tear

This seems like a wasted weekend for this top team. When you dominate this far above in your bracket, you aren't learning anything except how to sandbag.

Could be many reasons to enter this lower bracket.
1. it provides a nice confidence boost for a new team/ new club
2. Give JA some bragging rights to post on social media and temporarily quiet the nay sayers
3. give MM a better understanding of how this team plays together when they are feeling confident. It's an entirely new team, none of whom he has coached before...maybe 1 or 2. This very well might have been their first time playing a game together as this current team.

sucks for the other teams who might have been playing at a flight appropriate level but that's not a new thing to have happen in a tournament. especially by the host club.

Will be interesting to see where they place themselves in future tournaments but seems to be a solid group with a great goalie (based on the clean sheet)
