Albion SC (East County specifically)

Doing his best to take it in stride.
Hoping he gels with the Sporting coach/team and is offered a spot. Their tryouts are only two hours total, so not sure how much they can see in that short time.
We finally got an EA2 roster. It is not a desirable position as we do not recognize any of the kids on the roster and are concerned the team will be very bad. We don't care about win-loss, but if a team is outmatched it is hard to develop.

We think he will have a good chance to make Sporting MLSn.

Make sure to ask the new coach all the important questions.

It’s disappointing that your son didn’t make ea at Albion, but Ale is a very solid coach and may be worth staying for ea2 if the new coach downs differ the right answers to these questions.

Thank you for the advice.
Yes, we have been happy with Ale.

WE know playing time (he would get full time at EA2) is more important than moving up to MLSn AD, so we need to make sure hell get minutes at Sporting

I’d also suggest asking the EA2 coach why the offer took so long and what specifically was it that prevented your player from being placed higher. A good coach who understands your player will be able to give you specific reasons.

Good choice!

Wow, looks like they've completely disbanded BU15 in East County. Went from four teams in the 2012 age group (2 MM, 2 SN) to none. Seems the half-dozen kids who were not moved up to EA/EA2 were sent to Hickman anyway, but assigned to DB's Academy squad.

After Sami was run off it seemed like a lot of parents didn't want to be associated with the club.

I don't know the details, but I can't believe Sami was "run off". Quite the contrary; I think there are many of us that would literally chase after him.
I was told he offered to stay if you could do Hickman two a week and east county two days a week

The head honcho wanted to demand four days in east county out of him
