Wow, that was a short "retirement" (how he framed it to his remaining Albion teams when he abruptly resigned).

Yes, he has performed very well for the team.
And his skill is in the top half of the team.
The coach seemed to feel he has a lot of potential as well.
Not sure what the disconnect is, but we will move on and hopefully it makes him stronger.

The current roster of 18 players will be shocked to hear that.

Roster spots aren't always given purely on merit. A coach has a lot to balance and some of the roster decisions may not even be their choice. In addition to normal parent & player politics, there's always the coveted coaches kid spot or the friend/family of the DOC spot. Not saying that's the case here, but the age matrix is really mixing things up. It's hard as a teenager but hopefully your son doesn't take it as an indictment on them.
AD will go to Albion SD, the home club. Only EA or EA2 might be given to the satellite club when the home club does not have a decent team, and also serves as a trick to fool parents of the affiliated club.

AD-EA2 are going to all be at Hickman with HD at Muir

Hoping he gels with the Sporting coach/team and is offered a spot. Their tryouts are only two hours total, so not sure how much they can see in that short time.

Why does the whole "Trust the Process" mantra feel like a cult slogan?
