We were among the lucky who had out of town teams in our flight at Surf Challenge. They are cancelling tons of flights with only local teams that were slotted to use grass fields and consolidating the remaining to turf fields. Update schedule still pending.

Aaaaaand we’re out. 2009G teams reduced from 16 to 8. Well, I guess we can’t say there’s a Surf bias. Cruz and Rebels bounced too.
 
Congrats to 09 Slammers PA and Blues for winning their perspective tournaments. Anybody out at silverlakes? Heard fields handled the rains well. Looking at the scores, slammers appears to be in incredible form, while blues slaughtered the competition in SD. The two scores that stood out were in the Semifinal games: slammers best legends 6/1 and blues beat surf 7:4. High scoring affairs

We were out at Silverlakes, fields held up great. Weather was cold, fields a bit on the small side but played well.

After the fall season, it’s interesting taking stock on each leagues performance versus others during tournaments. In the first tournaments after the fall here are the results:

SCSDL South: 5 teams participated in two tournaments; Overall Record 18 wins, 2 losses
Slammers PA-5 wins, 0 losses. Champion Silverlakes Fall Classic;
Blues Rennie-4 wins, 0 losses. Champion Surf Thanksgiving(
Slammers TD-3 wins, 1 loss, 1 tie. Runner up fall classic;
Blues Vaught-4 wins, 0 losses; Champion Surf flight 2;
Legends-2wins, 1 loss, 1 tie; semi finalist

SCSDL West: 3 teams participated in 2 tournaments. Overall Record 3 wins, 7 losses

RSC II- 2 wins, 2 losses. Surf finalist flight 2;
Beach-1 win, 2 losses;
CDA HB-0 win, 3 losses

CSL SE North- 1 team; overall record 2 wins, 2 losses (Eagles) semi finalist Fall Classic

CSL S North-1 team; overall record 0 wins, 3 losses (Santa Anita SC)

SDDA-1 team; overall record 2 wins, 2 losses Surf finalist ( SD Surf Select)

Weather permitting, tomorrow Coast has the final act of the Fall Season with League Cup Semi-finals and Final.

Eagles - Team USA
BYSC - Fullerton Rangers

Will it go like everyone expects, or there will be any surprises? You just need to spend $10 in parking and you can find out :D

That was a great game, still drying out from that rain. Your girls really battled today, and your parents are very classy as well.

But NOT so fast on State Cup. What about Winter leagues? LOL What are folks doing? Here's ours (PSSLU). LA Surf doing U12:

Eagles are on Break as well, we will be Playing in the Eagles Tournament 08 bracket, and hopefully some scrimmages.

Meh, rankings are more realistic now. My kid is starting ODP in a week and we are likely going to play up with DA next year. The only thing left to watch/debate is Super Copa and who will be #1 after. My money still says PDA Legacy.
