Albion SC (East County specifically)

I’m not sure they still have 4 2012B teams and I believe they lost one of their B2013 teams.

I heard The JA element spooked families that knew him from previous clubs. And not much communication leading up to and around tryouts lead many families to tryout with (and move to) different clubs.
This is normal every year. Back in 2018, I was called by the new Doc at Surf trying to get me to stay after I told the old Doc & Club that we were leaving to play high school soccer and follow the rules put be for us. We were locked out of the GDA that US Soccer started in 2017. Anyway, New Doc sold me a free ride for ECNL, the #2 league at the time. However, dude was another liar and the truth was another league was forming because Surf got kicked out of ECNL and they started DPL. Good luck everyone. We need to get these liars out of the game. One who lies is up to no good and you don't want your kid training with a liar.

He's a great coach from everyone I know who knows him, but all we have is our reputation...

"JLA spooked families that knew him from previous clubs"

I guess the lies, games, and general scumbaggery is real, I thought I was the only one who drank the punch and spit it out

Rebels ended up with the better end of the deal now that smoke is settling

Rebels
Heth, Romero , Gilbert , Antonio

Albion East
JLA, SpongeBob , Patrick , Squidworth

That's really exciting !

Now they can justify charging so much for shit teams and coaches w more acronyms

Can wait to look at the standings at the end of the season!

Have your kids aged out or do they still play?
If they still play, where?
How are you so confident in the doc and coaching at their club?

Good morning. My son has been invited to join a "high level" team that will be coached by Jason Aldous.
I have read up on the things he is accused of doing (money related things). Have there ever been accusations, or proof, of him doing anything to endanger children?
Also, if it is well-known that he has embezzled money, etc, why have charges never been filed?

Thank you

The monetary costs and time involved in litigation exceed the benefit when considered from PR and resource perspectives.

I think one of the key elements of what recently transpired is worth noting.

Jason Heth, an individual respected by the op and others who have worked with him, brought Aldous in to Albion for consideration.

Fast forward a few months later now, Heth has left and Aldous is firmly entrenched in Albion East.

Heth went to the club that pushed Aldous out.

I would caution against rationalizing your decision utilizing your proposed moral equivalency formula.

The scenario of looking the other way on a person that commits embezzlement simply because they have not done anything to mistreat a child is flawed thinking.

Not looking to justify any decision.
Just need to know if my child (if we have to go that route), or his teammates, are in any potential danger.

Unreal. You are asking about someone - an uncountable number of people online say stay away - and you say they aren't being decent if they can't assure you whether this person may pose future risk to your loved one, based on either this specific negative activity which you're OK with, or that specific negative activity which you may not be. You need to make up your own mind based on all of the available information. Most would have already.

It's unreal to want to know if someone may pose a danger to my son?

Strange viewpoint there.

It's unreal to expect strangers to think for you concerning something that you're worried about. Childish viewpoint there.
I don't need strangers to think for me. I need them to let me know if they have information that I do not. Childish would be blindly going along without doing full due diligence.
Or hating on someone trying to do what is best for his son and his teammates.
