04s - Games of the Week

In OC Premier (Toyota Of Orange) tournament, any idea which Pateadores team is "Pateadores White"?
And idea which Arsenal team is "Arsenal FC"? Trying to update rankings.

To chose from I have.
Pateadores Irvine, Pateadores Long Beach Blue, Pateadores PYL Blue, Pateadores Laguna, Pateadores Irvine Blue, Pateadores IER, Pateadores Newport Blue

OC Kick Off had 5 flights but they were all mixed up...
FC Premier -Los Al signed up for flight 2 and paid the fee, but when the schedule came out we weren't on the schedule. They finally had a team drop out in flight 4 and stuck us in there. Flight 4 was mostly flight 2 teams.
 
Maybe that's why they waited until early last week to release the schedule. They knew there would be some issues, but my releasing it late, it would be too late to fix it.
Or- they had a bunch of teams shuffling/dropping out and had to do what they could to get everyone scheduled.
We played in this tournament last year. We decided against it this year. Partially because there was so many flights.

Advice to all soccer tournaments. Can we make the flight names Gold, Silver and Bronze? We played in this tournament and won it 3 years ago and to this day I still can't figure out if our flight was the high one or low one. Orange, Blue, White. Why make things so difficult?

You got Lucky, like I mentioned earlier I paid and got an acceptance email but was never put on the schedule. After 4 email and leaving 3 voicemails, I contacted a golden state coach to see if he could help either refund my money or put our team on the schedule. We will definitely not be doing this tournament again.

Games of the Week 8/27 - 8/28
NHB Cup has some decent teams out at the event including Beach FC - SB & Strikers OC EGSL in Group A. Group B includes RSC - SCV & SDSC - Navy.

Teams to watch are Strikers FC - North, Coach Flores always has the teams ready to play. Also keep an eye on Futbol Foundation (FFSC), they won some tournaments in their neck of the woods and are looking to keep it going.

Very good turnout for the Players Cup, CDA Segovia, Beach FC - Nunes, Westside Breakers, and Legends Riverside all in one group. Should be good games around. Group B has Pats Irvine and Albion SC.

In Flight II watchout for UIFC Venom, very athletic squad.

Awesome. I'm with FC Heat, one of the teams you played at the tournament. You have a very good team, strong and agile. Given that we are a AA-B team, we were a bit nervous when it came time to play you, but I think we did extremely well against your team. It was definitely a tough game for us.

FYI I was checking the brackets for my other 03 DD and noticed Slammers 04 Macias is playing in 03 Flight 2.

This is the weekend where league play comes into action. SCDSL, CSL, SDDA / Presidido will all be playing games within their respective leagues. SCDSL will be holding their showcase event while the others kick off actual league play.

I'm working on putting together a Tech Specs. breakdown for a few of the leagues as well. Working on CSL and SDDA first since they kick off this weekend and I'll knock out the SCDSL portion next week.
