IE Surf West keeper played a great game, had some big saves, she did herself proud.
They were playing Arsenal behind us at 6pm in the late games, they were composed under the frantic style of play Arsenal brings.
Arsenal was without their striker who missed due to ODP, but not sure it would have swayed the result, Galaxy was very solid from what I saw.
After the opening weekend the standings are as follows:

2nd half in particular with some weird bounces and the wind being a factor, she was in the thick of it and did very well!
Congrats to Beach LB - Great game we had together. We'll get you next time (I hope). You've got a great team and are tough nuts to crack.
Game against LAGSD was another battle. Could've gone either way. Their center forward (from Surf) was a wicked threat up top (Speed, touch and a great sense of the game). Scared me every time she had the ball. Game was at 4:00 - that famous Norco wind was soon enjoyable. At least it alleviated the heat to some degree.
Looking forward to Eagles Tourney and then Galaxy Tourney and then..................... Gonna be a hell of a summer.

CRL website states that the fields for 2016-2017 are Silverlakes and San Bernadino Complex. Does this mean that games will alternate only between these two sites?
Everything CRL states is subject to change!
I'm all for the games being played at Silverlakes, I guess you could say the fields are somewhat close for me.....
San Bernardino off of Highland are terrible, IE Surf is better conditions but the wind is horrible there.
Both Silverlakes and Oceanside are used for everything, every weekend!

Gonna be a tough weekend for our little ladies! Surf an Arsenal back to back!
Surf game should be a good one, really able to move the ball.
Arsenal will test your girls determination to play the style your girls play.
Schedule is now up for both weekends upcoming.
Tech how is the air quality up there with the fires going on? I know a couple of years ago CRL was cancelled in Camarillo due to fires in the area causing really bad air quality.

Air is fine. I couldn't even smell a fire while driving past Silverlakes. Seems to have cleared up, air-wise at least.
