It's going to be interesting to see whether the anti-socialism vote or the anti-Iran war/high gas prices vote prevails at the midterms. I had predicted a small blue wave, but given the socialist results of the Dem primaries I'm not so sure. Repubs (specifically Trump) aren't doing themselves any favors either, no way that a Dem should even be close to a Rep in Texas, but Paxton has so much baggage that Talarico is currently leading. We shall see what the real vote turns out to be. I certainly wouldn't make any midterm wagers at this point, except Becerra to win big in California. The numbers just aren't their in California anymore.

When will you people quit pretending Trump has a clue or actually wants to do ANYTHING positive for anyone else? The entire Trump aura is fiction.

On DSA thing, that (the extremist version, blow everything up) won’t amount to much and won’t last beyond the midterms, if that. People do want a better environment that isn’t so top heavy (this is where money comes to take advantage of We the People and our resources. There is a reason the brakes were applied to strip mining our country, figuratively and realistically. The trump contingency decided a conservative allocation of resources wasn’t producing wealth at nearly a rapid enough nor large enough scale so they began shit canning all the guardrails the possibly could. These old billionaires don’t care about tomorrow, We the People do.

People want affordable healthcare not a reworking of something that has worked rather well for 250 years. That’s why Trump is so unpopular (among other things), he wants to run everything by himself. People don’t want government by decree (pretty much why people came here from Europe in the first place).

We pay our employee's health insurance, it doesn't get much cheaper than that. I would hope your union negotiated healthcare as part of your compensation as well.

Obamacare has been popular, but not cheap because many are forced to pay for coverages that they don't need. Other than nationalized healthcare that the socialists are proposing, I haven't heard a proposal from either party.
