Socal named as Operator for National 1 League

Was also surprised to not see it more localized. Looks just like E64/NL without the Arizona travel.
 
What exactly is the difference between Premier 1 and Premier 2? On the surface, some of the Premier 2 teams seem to have been bottom of the table in their respective NPL or E64/NL league. I thought there was going to be clear cuts for those who were not competitive.
 
It had to always have been assumed that almost every NPL, and E64/NL would be eligible to join N1L if they chose. Only ones really at risk are the ones that wouldn't have been permitted to rejoin NPL or E64/NL the next season already. (or ones that chose themselves not to join for whatever reason)

Looks like this didn't happen. Plenty of bottom table teams that got back in and also some third place flight 1 teams.

By all accounts, it simply was what it was said to be. NPL and National League Merger. New name with the NPL structure and National League teams added. Premier 1 = Super Division and Premier 2 = everyone else.
 
Sporting San Diego u15 didn't get in after 2011 NPL team finished third last year.
Presumably because too much turnover.

u14 City SC EC also denied, while U15 got in

There was criteria that each team had to meet. Big one was 8 returning players and even with a new roster, you had to let the league know where the players were coming from.
