Growing up and going to elementary school in the 70s and high school early 80s you never heard teachers do anything like this. It was beyond the pale.These idiots are teaching our children. Get rid of tenure and the unions so these teachers can be straight up fired.

Quite frankly politics did not come up at all in any partisan manner. Politics came up as it related to the Constitution, how laws were passed, what the House and Senate did...etc.
Even in college the professors didn't talk politics. You say it in the student mall for instance...different groups doing this or that...but that was it.
Totally different today.

Funny how politics work in the Supreme Court.
In the case of CA redistricting...the Supreme Court allowed it. A one sentence order. NO PUBLIC dissents. So apparently 9-0
On the other hand in TX the Supreme Court allowed it...but this time it was 6-3. The lib justices were A-OK when a Dem state wanted to redistrict, but suddenly didn't like the idea when a Rep state wanted to do it.
