Plenty of folks stay or go back home. Wherever someone is from they see that place through a different lens. 2026 isn’t recent enough?Oops. It's been updated since 2022. You might want to look at the direction certain states are heading. Like Cali going from 11% to 17.7% in just 3 years.

Its a generic title, try reading the article. Its based on 2020 and 2022 data. Plus this is based on national poverty thresholds. If you were to factor in CA cost of living CA would have a much higher % living under poverty.2026 isn’t recent enough?
