Today in Fascism

Commentary by Bible expert: In John 14:12, Jesus tells his disciples that those who believe in him will do the works he has been doing, and "even greater works than these" because he is going to the Father. This is generally interpreted not as superior miracles (Doctor Trump thinks otherwise and for me, it's open to interpretation, just like all the scriptures), but as a wider, global reach of the Gospel through the Church, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

"Doctor" or "Doctored"? The Word Mix-Up That Should Have Every American Asking Questions.

Let's recap this week's spectacle: Trump posts an AI-generated image of himself in white robes, glowing hands, healing a sick man — straight out of a Renaissance painting of Jesus — right in the middle of his beef with Pope Leo XIV. Backlash erupts. Even MAGA conservatives are horrified. He deletes it.

Then Monday, standing in front of the press, Trump says — and I quote — "I thought it was me as a doctor. It had to do with the Red Cross."

Today? Karoline Leavitt tells the press the image was "doctored."

Doctor. Doctored. One letter away from a completely different sentence.

Now, two possibilities here, and neither one is reassuring:

👉 Option A: Someone told Trump to say the image was doctored — meaning manipulated — and he heard doctor and ran with it. If he can't follow basic communication from his own staff, what does that say about the man with his finger near the nuclear button?

👉 Option B: He knew exactly what that image was and lied to reporters' faces — and his press secretary is now trying to clean it up with a different lie.

Either way, this is EXACTLY what AI was feared to become — a tool to generate, manipulate, and launder propaganda at scale. And the variations circulating online — some with Epstein's face photoshopped in as the man Trump is "healing" — show just how fast AI imagery spins out of control once it's out there.

This isn't a gaffe. This isn't a joke. A man who posted himself as Jesus, attacked the actual Pope, then couldn't coherently explain what he posted to a group of reporters — that man is the President of the United States.

Trump knows why he did it and so do I. You are not ready for the truth. Someday I will explain it to you.

Some mentally ill Leftists are elected.

Not the one's making all the decisions at CIF and the State of CA and that's what matters the most to me as a dad. You have a daughter and espola has only boys. Where do you put this topic with regards to importance with a candidate for President? For me, it's #1 right now. If we as a society allow a man to be a lady and play sports with our dd team and take showers with them, that's insane and has to be where we all come together Du Du. It's the #1 reason I love Trump. He took a stand when weak men did nothing, just like when the weak men put on a mask, stood in a circle 6 feet, washed their hands and took all the jabs. I look forward to reading your answer and one from espola. This is how you engage. Great stuff...
I have a daughter who played high school and club sports.

It was a horrifying parade. Former Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax shot and killed his wife, Cerina, on Thursday before taking his own life. The murder-suicide has shocked Virginia. The roots of this tragedy trace back to the rape allegations made against Mr. Fairfax by two women during Ralph Northam’s governorship.

I'm sorry, but I refuse to tolerate "stupid" just because millions of people in this country have been brainwashed.

I don't know why it's on everyone else to "listen to the opinions" of people who believe in asinine, stupid ideas based on utter nonsense rather than calling out their bullshit.

That's one of the biggest issues we have today. We've made it so that instead of forcing people to be better, we're just supposed to adapt and lower ourselves to be worse — to be on the same playing field as they are.

To hell with that.

Ignorance is ignorance — period.

Oh, so Donald Trump claimed he wasn't sharing an image of himself as Jesus Christ, but of a "doctor," and you claim to believe that?

Well, you're stupid.

Donald Trump wants to sue the government, of which he is the executive, for tens of millions of taxpayer dollars through several different lawsuits — and his supporters are okay with it?

Yeah, you're f*cking stupid if you support that.

How brainwashed do you have to be to not recognize blatant corruption? A president suing his own government for millions of taxpayer dollars to literally enrich himself.

This as his administration has openly taken bribes to build his stupid ballroom.

He might as well just come out and say his support is for sale and that the main focus of his second term is to enrich himself by exploiting his power to build his wealth. It's not like his supporters are going to give a shit — clearly they don't. They'll just make excuses for him.

You think foreign countries pay for tariffs?

That's stupid.

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to "listen to the opinions" of people discussing tariffs who try to argue that foreign governments pay these taxes when it's an indisputable fact that American importers and consumers are the ones who pay these tax hikes.

I'm sorry if someone genuinely doesn't understand how tariffs work, and I'm willing to explain them to help better inform anyone. That said, I'm not going to act as if a completely false assertion based on pure bullshit fed to them by a liar and the right-wing media backing him are somehow "valid points" — because they're absolutely f*cking not.

There are three things in this country we have to get back to:

1. Doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do.

2. Calling out ignorance and treating it as such.

3. Pointing out blatant hypocrisy and calling that shit out every single time.

I'm all for everyone having the right to their own opinion — but not their own facts.

Additionally, just because someone has the right to do something doesn't make it right.

For example, a few months ago I supported the right of those individuals in the Republican group chat who were praising Hitler, promoting the need to bring back gas chambers, making jokes about sexual assault, and using blatantly racist language to describe African Americans to say all of those horrific things.

That's what the First Amendment protects.

That said, the insane idea that that sort of behavior should be defended — which is what human diaper stain JD Vance tried to do at the time — is just flat-out wrong. No one denies they have the right to say those horrific things, but that doesn’t mean those comments shouldn’t be immediately condemned or that those individuals shouldn’t be held accountable for what they said.

Again, just because you have the right to do something doesn't make it the right thing to do. We have to get back to doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do.

And absolutely condemning those individuals who made those disgusting comments is the right thing to do.

Calling out blatant stupidity is the right thing to do.

Refusing to allow those who are willfully ignorant to deteriorate discourse in this country by turning indisputable facts into a "matter of opinion" because they would rather double-down on delusions rather than admit that they were wrong is the right thing to do.

I'm tired of letting the lowlifes win. It's time we demand better — from all of us.

Okay, MAGA, let's see if you can follow along.

Once upon a time, I was a fan of Eric Swalwell. I liked most of his politics, he said things I agreed with, and he was a member of the party I support. In fact, he was the candidate I was hoping would become California's next governor.

Then credible allegations came from several different women who accused him of sexual assault and abuse. The more details I found out about who Swalwell really was, the worse it got.

My first thoughts were, "No, I hope this isn't true. I like him... this sucks."

The more I researched, the more I realized — damn, Swalwell seems like a real piece of shit.

So my viewpoint about him changed. I definitely didn't want to see him become California's next governor, believed he should resign from Congress, and if these allegations are true, and they certainly seem credible, I hope he faces the fullest extent of the law.

At present, my first two hopes have come true. He suspended his campaign and he resigned from Congress.

You see how that works? Let me explain it very simply.

I liked person. Person was a member of a political party I support. Person backed many of the policies I support. Person also loathed Donald Trump like I do.

Person was then exposed as a creep and an abuser of women.

Now I no longer support person and want to see them face justice. I now believe person should definitely go to jail if these allegations are proven to be true.

That's how it should work. It shouldn't matter what "side" someone is on, or what policies they support. If someone is credibly found to be a lowlife piece of human garbage who sexually assaults women, it should be a bipartisan stance that we all agree — f*ck that person.

But that's not what you all did with Donald Trump. When nearly 30 women came forward with allegations of sexual abuse, along with a video where Trump is heard bragging about sexually assaulting women, you blindly believed the multiple adulterer and longtime friend of Jeffrey Epstein who's on that tape bragging about sexual assault who said all the women were all lying. The same individual who is currently ordering his Department of Justice to cover up those files to protect child predators because his name is mentioned in them more than every other person but one — Jeffrey Epstein.

And because he’s a Republican, you believe all nearly 30 of those women were liars. You blew off the Access Hollywood tape as “locker-room talk” because that’s what Trump said, and you seem to no longer care about the Epstein files since Trump’s made it very clear that there’s something he’s desperately trying to hide and protect, and you’d rather, as he put it, “move on from the Democratic hoax.”

For you all, your entire stance on any given issue is based upon the letter next to someone’s name on a ballot. It doesn’t matter if you have to support a woman-abusing lowlife who might have very well participated in, or at least helped enable, child trafficking. As long as they’re a Republican, you’ll jump through hoops to believe anything they tell you, when we all damn sure know if a Democrat were accused of those same allegations, your viewpoint would be completely different.

So the next time you wonder why so many people think so poorly of you — remember that.

This shouldn’t be a difficult concept to grasp.
