None of the above.
It’s Jason Aldous and the Albion East group picking up fragments of smaller outfits and presenting as a new thing. Has nothing to do with the Rebels EC group or most of Legends. Same old product, different name.
They’ll advertise MLS Next and GA, both of which will remain housed in Carlsbad. Inevitably suckers will bite in the same old “pathway to…” promise.

Wow, less than a year at Albion
 
our neighbor said they had a decent turnout for youngers tryouts.

East county needs a successful programs so Im curious what the plan is to get older teams full. they are bringing over a 2012 team from MM and i think JA has a younger team that came over. but what about the other years. are they absorbing any other full teams/ micro clubs? or hoping word of mouth is enough?

If JA is part of the leadership, it sounds like there are two branches of this new venture. not sure how they interact. The City EC website mentions fields in Tierrasanta and says the club will be directed by scott alexander?

"Teams from Tierrasanta, previously competing with Gremio FC, will join City SC East County. Training locations for these teams will continue to be in Tierrasanta"

Looks like a Legends 2013 is likely on the move. MM must have promised a letter league to get a mediocre F1 team to leave an established club. Or discounts? Who knows
 
My son was on the mediocre F1 Legends team, they were gunning for F2 this last season, but the club directors forced F1 or E64 RL, all the parents refused the E64RL without knowing that the club was forcing F1. We asked the coach (mind you this is 1/2 way thru the year when this was announced to us) if the tryouts were happening now, would the same boys make the team based on the F1... and he said no, absolutely not.) We had about 5 strong players, then others were...decent. Our team is disbanding with the age range and we're all going to other clubs. Many were looking at City EC, until we found out JA was a part of it and with his record/past business decision - not sure where everyone will be trying out now. There were rumors our coach was moving to City, but that was so far out of his plans for his next year plans that it's laughable.

Were Max and Daniel on that team?

I heard that City would be poaching the Rebels Central NPL team since their coach is leaving.
They have been training at grossmont with the men mentioned above.
