What these assholes did to Rudy is pure evil. Du Du and espola were on here mocking America's Mayor and laughing at him for saying, "The 2020 election was fucking rigged." Taxes (inflation)...we were told prices would skyrocket. They have not.

We now have much better trade deals. Many countries either didn't allow US companies to export to them or tariffed the hell out of them. That has changed. Barriers to US companies have been eliminated or drastically lowered.

We have incentivized companies to manufacture in the US. This over the long term makes us less reliant on foreign countries (and especially China). This has the added benefit of creating more jobs here in the US.

We have not lost business partners. Quite the contrary. Once T announced tariffs, countries stood in line to get a deal in place. They need access to the largest market in the world.

And the list goes on.

Long term the biggest benefit to the US will be an increased industrial base. Your party Husker (and to be honest the old R party) were happy to offshore manufacturing which hollowed out US manufacturing, cost us tons of jobs (including your beloved unions), etc. ...which was not a good deal for the US.

All this and, while implied, it bears stating that some products/raw materials we will now produce ourselves to remove reliance on China are vitally important to our national defense.
