Kimmel isn't funny and his political comments aren't made in jest, but bitter insults as a partisan activist. Remember that Chappelle was only censored when he made fun of the left. They are also on two totally different platforms, Kimmel on network television which has government imposed conduct standards and Chappelle on Netflix which does not. I will also add there is a difference between straight up lying like Kimmel did, and exaggerating to make a joke.

All that having been said, I don't like the suspension of Kimmel. Yes, Kimmel was suspended by his employer, but the comments from the FCC, Trump and others on the right smack of censorship.

On a side note, Chappelle is whip smart and the best social commentary comedian since Carlin and I find Chappelle funnier.

I'm just pointing of that The Left was all up in a rage with Chappelle. But Kimmel can do no wrong in their eyes.
