Ha, ha, more diverse, WTF. Democrats are diversity of channels, but not of thought. Democrat's are getting information from all left leaning sources. Whereas, the right does get info from ABC NBC and CBS, which are well documented left leaning.

It's sad that our network news have chosen a preferred narrative absent the facts. Prima Facie evidence is their active participation in the attempted coverup of Biden's cognitive decline.

The left's claims of diversity are a total crock of shit.
The claims of a “left leaning media” are a crock. By crying “left leaning” the right is just upset their preferred narrative isn’t being mainstreamed beyond Fox, newsmax and the many other purely rightwing media outlets.

It isn't claims of left leaning. All their stories and narratives come from a left perspective.

Go try to find pro 2nd amendment stories in the left? Try finding pro tax cut stories, etc. You just will not.

All the journalists are democrat. A significant amount of the most well known anchors/journalists used to work for Dem administrations, senators, or congressman. Many are married to spouses working for active dems.

MAGA is big time split. My gosh, some of these people are losing their marbles. "If Trump goes to war against Iran, he's finished." Tucker said that. I'm watching the board, and I can say the next day or so will be wired. Thomas Massie is all pissed off. Trump can't do anything right. He's not here to make friends, I can say that for sure. Alex Jones is freaking out and so is Bannon. The Left wants him dead so we have that as well. A true leader doesn't give a fuck about making friends, trust me.

The craziest thing about the stats below is that 22% of the "next common" cite Joe Rogan's podcast as their news source .

  • Republicans:
    • 57% rely regularly on Fox News — more than twice the share for any other single source pewresearch.org.
    • Next common: ABC (27%), NBC (24%), CBS (22%), Joe Rogan podcast (22%), Newsmax (15%), The Daily Wire (12%), Tucker Carlson Network (9%) pewresearch.org.
  • Democrats:
    • More diverse media diet: CNN (48%), NBC (47%), ABC (46%), CBS (39%), MSNBC (33%), NPR (32%), AP (31%), PBS (31%), BBC (30%), NYT (29%) pewresearch.org.
  • Overlap:
    • 20% of Republicans also get news from CNN, and 18% of Democrats from Fox News
The democrats are not getting a more diverse diet. CNN, ABC, etc are all hard to the left. The diet so to speak is the same. The channel may be different, but the topics, theme, etc are all about identical. Repubs as a whole get more info from 1 single source due to the fact there are not many other national news channels to the right.

To be perfectly honest, I'm more concerned about people getting their news from social media than I am network and cable news.
Diverse would be pewresearch's word not mine.

Educated people with empathy. The 2A thing is a false narrative from the right, claiming it’s eminent doom is baseless.

Empathy for whom? The Democrats have historically been the more empathetic party, but their empathy has gone past the point of common sense. Protecting criminal aliens over law-abiding citizens is a prime example.
Your state sponsored narrative. Do you feel pulling people for deportation from their immigration hearings is kosher?

I wonder how much our CA cheaters have taken in from the CCP? Shit, these losers mandated everyone to wear a fucking mask, stfu, stand 6 feet away, wash hands and take all of the China Jabs or your fucking fired, and your kids can't attend their Grooming Schools if they don't take all the jabs. Hello, are you political experts on here awake yet? One thing I'm certain, many of you were fucking wrong about the jabs and you obeyed these blood suckers. Wake the FUCK UP!!!

Point by point.

Yep we purposely outsourced manufacturing and the elites loved it. Strategically it isn't a smart move and it hurts long term US interests. That is why there is a change.

GOP as a whole has never been on board with climate change. For the forseable future fossil fuels will be the dominate energy source. It is only realistic to acknowledge that and take advantage of our resources to make us less reliant on other countries and or unreliable sources of energy (that cost a lot more to the consumer).

Healthcare? Isn't a right per say as you are implying (which I take it to be single payer).

Ten commandments? You don't see the national GOP push this. It isn't a national issue. If 4 states have this where somewhere in a classroom where kids can see it, not sure what harm it does. It doesn't...trick question. I dont push for it. But if on the spectrum of 4 states having the 10 commandments vs more dem states pushing boys can be girls...I like most people go the traditional route.

Most election denial comes from the left. One only has to look at Bush, Bush again, Trump 1 and now Trump 2. If we are to add up denial, it comes far more frequently from the left.

You will eliminate a lot of the deficit getting rid of waste, fraud, etc. So much of what we spend is totally unnecessary. A program gets put in place and just grows and grows. Our departments do not run efficiently by any stretch. What is telling that even talking of cutting waste, fraud, etc. put the D party on the vapors. CA on the state level over the past few years has spent 24 billion on the homeless with literally zero to show for it. Another endeavor was to spend billions on low income housing...with virtually all the money spent and basically no housing built. CA has spent billions on billions on the high speed train with virtually nothing built. Same crap happens on the Fed level.
  • Business loves outsourcing as it is more profitable. Shareholders love it as it drives value. Neither care about its strategic fit or whether it hurts the US or not. I would say that the H1B program and tech outsourcing is far more detrimental to the US strategically than manufacturing, but that was shut down quickly when it came up.
  • Yes. I see they are removing clean energy subsidies in the BBB, wonder if they are going to remove the fossil fuel ones too - combined, we could probably save $30-$40B annually, split pretty much 50-50, that's be cool.
  • Access to healthcare is a right, imv. It also makes complete sense economically.
  • 19 GOP states seems pretty national to me.
  • Really?
  • We won't eliminate a lot of the deficit via waste, fraud etc., because nobody has a fucking clue what waste, fraud etc., is going on, if any. Its just a throw away phrase that sounds good and none of these pols can or has substantiated it. DOGE cancelled stuff. It was approved and funded. A lot was probably BS, but that's not waste, fraud or abuse, that a difference of opinion. The volume/value of fraud to have an impact would be colossal, and yet I don't see a deluge of new cases. Where is all the waste? Where is all the inefficiency? If its that obvious surely it should be simple to identify and eliminate?
Fwiw, I agree that there is likely waste in federal spending, but I hate unsubstantiated comments. For example, I find it fascinating that the defense budget seems to have an unwritten rule whereby 49% if the spending is internal and 51% external (MIC). If it goes up, the ratio always stays the same. That makes no rational sense to me. Its also hundreds of billions annually. Likewise, why do we give out tens of billions in corporate subsidies each year to hugely profitable companies, that makes no sense to me.

In all seriousness, it's time to pray for peace in the Middle East. However, I have not laughed this hard in a long time. We got Husker Du and his amazing political insights and of course whatithink, aka Grace is giving us a lecture with bullet points. I can't seem to find espola today or dad4.
