You also keep ignoring the fact that if Hamas returned the hostages the war would end and that if Hamas hadn't attacked this would have never started. You also ignore the fact that Palestinians live in peace and relative prosperity in Israel. So the ethnic cleansing claim is also complete bullshit. Palestinians in general support anti-Semitic policies. We're reminded of that almost weekly on college campuses.

Gazan's plight is a result of the Hamas actions and radical Islam. Full stop.

We're never going to agree, I can appreciate your emotion based argument (I agree that Israel should do more), but I'm going to stick with the historical facts. We clearly understand where each other stand, I suggest we both hope for an end to this war and move on.

In a post on X, the DHS shared a report that reveals 1 in 6 survivors of the Lahina wildfires “were forced to engage in sexual acts in exchange for basic necessities like food and housing.”

You're correct, we won't agree. The Gazan's plight started a long time before Hamas ever existed, and certainly a long time before Oct 7th. There's nothing emotional about my truth.

The article about genocide and killing babies as a hobby were quotes from an Israeli politician, ex military, actually fought Hamas on Oct 7th, and who deals with the Israeli govt daily ... but what would he know versus you, right!

You keep ignoring the Israeli pols in the cabinet who have said that returning the hostages does not end the war - the ones who want to "cleanse" Gaza, who have said, "if 100 Gazans are killed overnight, nobody cares", who have called Gazans "human animals", who's supporters chant "kill the Arabs", and attack food convoys going to Gaza. Those guys.

40% of the West Bank is now settler-controlled, with the Palestinians expelled - that's ethnic cleansing with the full support of the Israeli government and the IDF.

I sincerely hope the conflict ends soon, today not being soon enough, so that the people can get the help they desperately need.

Gazan's were much better off before Israel disengaged from Gaza. Far from perfect, but much better off. Yes, before Hamas, Palestinians chose the PLO and other violent leadership before that. The Palestinians rejected a two-state solution in 1948 and have ever since, choosing to just kill Jews instead. Their hatred of Jews impairs their judgement. It's clear for many that they'd rather be dead than have a Jewish state exist. You can't negotiate in good faith with a culture with that mentality.

You keep wanting to hang your hat on what some far right wing Israel politicians say as that applies to all of Israel. Could you imagine if I tried to argue a point using some far left wing or right wing American politician as that's the official policy of the United States.

It's ironic you can draw a clear line between Hamas and Palestinian, but not some right wing rando Israel politicians and Israel.

Yes, Palestinians rejected giving up their land in 1948, why wouldn't they? Palestinians did not assassinate Rabin because a peace deal was close.

The far right pols hold the balance of power in the Israeli government and can collapse it at any time if their wishes are not adhered to. The conflict is being carried out exactly as they wish. That's not an edge use case, but actually what is happening. Their supporters are in the West Bank forcibly removing Palestinians from their land today, supported by the IDF; that's not an edge use case either, but actually what is happening.

Gaza is about the size of Detroit. Since Oct 7th, Israel has dropped 100,000 tons of explosives - or 5 times the explosive yield of the atomic bomb that leveled Nagasaki. I commend their restraint.
