They all have the ability to do it because we let them, but stop acting like Trump is deliberately tanking the market so his already wealthy pals can risk going to the penitentiary. I don't think Trump deliberately tanked the market. I think he thought it would go down, but probably not to the extent it did. I do think people took notice when a random X account started a rumor that the tariffs would be lifted and the market jumped. It is very bizarre that a huge volume of same day calls were entered right before the announcement. That's like betting everything you own on a horse race. I don't see the SEC investigating so we'll never know.

We will know which politicians benefited though.

And all of them should be held accountable... but to what? Insider trading? They've been doing that for a long time.

I'm convinced that selling their souls to keep their jobs is less about power and more about getting wealthy. All of them.

I agree. Pelosi seems a most egregious example. I was reading about a freshman Rep this week. One of his key platforms when running was about Congress trading and that they should not etc. He won, and not only has he not sponsored or initiated anything to stop it, he has actually been one of the most proliferate traders - you couldn't make this shit up, nobody would believe you!

BTW, congressional trades did not put that volume of calls in just before the announcement. They are rich, but do not have that level of money.

The elite country club that keeps on giving. These people have no shame and actually believe they entitled to first place all the time. They come first, not the rest of us deplorables. These cheating elites were usually picked last on the school playground in the 70s and 80s and hated that feeling of being picked last. So they partnered with China and bought people and then bribed them and then blackmailed them. It's why they & them were first in line to wear the stupid masks and take the jabs and then sneer at folks like me who said no to the mask and jabs. They called me dumb dumb, moron and crazy father. They even got their hands-on high-level youth soccer so their kids would come first and get all the prizes and college deals first. These people are cheaters and liars at best bro. Total losers who can't learn to lose like real men and women do.
