Nah, its to cover borrowing for the next 2 years apparently, some of which is baked in admittedly, but the majority isn't (yet). I'm looking forward to the great reset in spending in the next couple of weeks. I'd have thought that they would agree on the spending piece first ... oh, they did! Spending reduction plus tax decreases (permanent) plus $4T in borrowing to cover 2 years only, hmmm! Not sure math is mathing relative to reducing the deficit!

I can appreciate what Trump is trying to do, but ultimately its a structural accounting and accountability problem. If he breaks it he needs to fix it. If he just lays waste to everything it may actually open the door to more fraud. Now in the DOGE hearing the other day I did hear some specific suggestions regarding the IT systems.
