I learned better long ago.
Would you PLEASE pay attention to what profile you're using so you stop replying to yourself? That's twice now.
I learned better long ago.
Who are you talking to?
So lack of evidence is proof of the position?
Do you recall his promise about ending homelessness when he was running for Mayor of San Francisco?Newsom is the first major Democrat in decades to have any understanding of the economics of housing. 99% of them want to take your tax dollars. Newsom is forcing your city to issue building permits.
Yell at him for everything else if you like, but his housing policy is neoclassical, not Marxist.
Well they finally have a category for guys like you who are infactuated by kids underwear. You don't know that any illegal voted, but that doesn't stop you from saying it.
I'm not a Democrat.
So your banner leader is Newsome?Newsom is the first major Democrat in decades to have any understanding of the economics of housing. 99% of them want to take your tax dollars. Newsom is forcing your city to issue building permits.
Yell at him for everything else if you like, but his housing policy is neoclassical, not Marxist.
Are we going to get to the bottom of this someday? Or is this another Hunter's laptop story?
Happy Juneteenth to the oppressed victims.

Can you find any message of mine where I called for banning guns? It's the gun's fault. Ban guns right @espola ?!
I'm willing to bet the shooters were already convicted felons who shouldn't be in possession of any firearms but it didn't stop them did it?
Maybe a 60-day waiting period will make people safer. (Insert sarcasm..that's directed at you again @espola since I know you have a hard time
comprehending some of the things others post.)
Can you find any message of mine where I called for banning guns?
It seems that in this intellectual desert, the only response to things I have posted is to pretend that I posted something else. What would you call your 2A thread? All you did was post links to articles where somebody was injured or killed. Not one article of anything positive such as youths participating in firearms training or competing in some sort of shooting sport. Yeah..go ahead and play dumb and post it again.
"Where did I post anything about banning guns?" You're so full of crap and we all know it. Go back to playing with your Nerf guns. Leave the real firearms to the responsible law-abiding citizens..and their kids.
Outrage and anger, the way of the maga. If it doesn’t exist make something up.It seems that in this intellectual desert, the only response to things I have posted is to pretend that I posted something else.
Yes. Newsom’s housing policies while in SF were not at all effective.Do you recall his promise about ending homelessness when he was running for Mayor of San Francisco?
No. Unlike most posters here, I see no need to be a partisan fanboy. So your banner leader is Newsome?
He hasn't done anything at this point.Yes. Newsom’s housing policies while in SF were not at all effective.
Back then, he was a typical progressive. Promise people you will help the poor by spending large amounts of SOM, but never actually think too hard about what works and what does not.
His current policy is quite different. It actually tries to attack the cause of the problem. I’d prefer a more conservative set of solutions, but the CA GOP has been as useless as the left on this. Revoking CEQA without changing zoning won’t do jack shit, and any decent conservative economist knows it.
If by rezoning you mean SB6 which allows commercial property to be converted to residential property without going through the rezoning process, you have to understand that that requires the use of prevailing wage on those developments. That might result in some new housing, but it will be far from affordable. SB6 is more about getting higher wages for construction workers than addressing the housing crisis.No. Unlike most posters here, I see no need to be a partisan fanboy.
It’s possible for me to like half of his actions and dislike the other half. I like his rezoning policy, but dislike his support for housing subsidies. He supports far too much borrowing, but at least he was willing to kill high speed rail.
Newsom is a mixed bag. Some good, some bad.
I was referring to the administrative decision to not certify bogus housing elements. Not hypothetical at all.He hasn't done anything at this point.
From Politico.
This is all hypothetical for now. The only immediate action the governor took Friday was signing an executive order launching a “strike team” meant to work across state agencies on infrastructure projects. The 11 pieces of legislation, which will be introduced as budget trailer bills, will require negotiating with his colleagues on the other side of N Street.
We should also note that these proposals don’t include any fast tracking for houses, which are in critically low supply in California. Asked about the omission Friday, Newsom said he’s proud of progress made thus far, and he’s looking forward to working with legislators on new efforts this year — though he declined to endorse any specific bills.
Not SB6. Prevailing wage is a tax paid to the building and trades council. The mode definition makes it worse. If by rezoning you mean SB6 which allows commercial property to be converted to residential property without going through the rezoning process, you have to understand that that requires the use of prevailing wage on those developments. That might result in some new housing, but it will be far from affordable. SB6 is more about getting higher wages for construction workers than addressing the housing crisis.
