Out of Academy?

Anybody know if there's any truth to the rumor that West Coast 04 boys aren't going to have an academy team next season?
 
Wouldn't surprise me, some of the U13+ boys coaches there are not big supporters of the DA circuit. I've heard one specifically mention it. Not to mention the WC / LA Galaxy partnership never went anywhere, besides getting LAG patches on their shirt sleeves.

WC has one U11/12 (06) team approved for 17-18 ussda league. No other age groups in that league for the boys for that club.
