Thanks. They shook off the previous game which ended in the most heartbreaking fashion - just one of those results we all get from time to time where the final score doesn’t reflect the game flow. Showed some character to come out and compete.

Our Hollywood '09 team is in a group with them and Team USA.

Looks like 09 Cruz and Crowley are playing up in 2008 (different flights). I don't think I see PA anywhere (not in Man City either). My understanding on Slammers teams gets really fuzzy after those teams and maybe AA. We have 2 in our group.

We gotta perform Sat/Sun but would look forward to seeing the Rangers either as an opponent or nearby game should we get out of group stage.

Actually looks like we play right before or after you on Westminster 4SS during group stage.

I try not to have too many sour grapes as I know how it tends to sound, but similar sentiments when we played them in the quarters. Any chance a guy that looked like an out of shape Steven Segal? :)

He had long graying hair and a build that could qualify him as an aging Segal or a Segal that stopped dieing his hair. But yes I agree turning the page regardless of the outcome of a match is good. Our girls had their opportunities and by no way am I implying that if not for him we would have won but, dude didn't even know the clock. I think he was unaware of the age group in the first half, I'll just leave it at that.

It was a good game...pretty evenly matched. Blues has a solid defense/goalie and was able to limit the runs from Eagles speedy forwards. Blues went up 2-0 by early 2nd half, then Eagles put one in and then Blues closed the deal with a third against the run of play.

I've had a chance to watch most of the top 09 teams in the past two weekends. Slammers PA and CDA Cerritos will be top teams by a slight margin. Behind them it will be very competitive between Legends, Eagles, Blues, Beach LB, Galaxy SB, SD Force, Albion Madrigal. Slammers MF and Liverpool did not have the results I expected this weekend...not sure what happened to them.

I know liverpool was looking for guest this weekend they stated they had some injuries come up and had no subs for the weekend.
