2017 National Cup 9v9 or 11v11?

So now that they have announce the play dates, and confirmed that 2005's will be a part of 2017 National Cup, will it be 9v9 so that the Champions can move on to Regionals where the rest of the U.S. is 9v9? Or will it be 11v11?

What a bummer if 9v9 is used as the format.
 
Called the tournament director and their office stated that the 2005's will be playing 11v11 for the National Cup tournament. Can't comment on what happens after that at the Regional tournaments.
