Games of the week....

LAUFA "reserves"not doing so well. Guess tournament wins were all Academy Players.

I knew it was Spuggy all along, only a faggot would come up with a name like True Love.

Keep guessing son only if you right
I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different. The truth is, we know so little about life, we don't really know what the good news is and what the bad news is. Good night son.

You have one thing correct, 1/3 will etheir leave or get poached by DA or free rides. The other's will leave due to play time and walk in another club with Slammers resume (Benchers are funding team).

I also have seen slammers play at Cerritos, they ran the table with all teams except one that I watched that was 50/50.

No they didn't , you don't know what the hell you are talking about.
LAUFA Reserve played some of the summer tournaments with guest academy players, no questions, no doubt. People can deny if they want, but those who were there saw it with our eyes.

LAUFA Tournaments
Cerritos Cup - mainly Academy to be and a couple reserves
Surf Cup - All Academy and a couple reserves
Pats Cup - 2 Academy players
NHB Cup - 0 Academy players

Why do teams even bother to play tournaments, for the pride of the players or for the coaches pride and the points!!!
Teams are suppost to hold their own, not borrow help to falsely win.
I think these coaches were picked on in school and as an adult they have to fit in somehow.

Sad but true. LAUFA reserves are not in sync in league play
The coach has 18-20 players on the reserve team. He makes a point of rotating players at the developmental league games. That might explain perceived sync issues at league play. I imagine during tournaments he plays his starters more.

Cerritos Cup - mainly Academy to be and a couple reserves. Golden State 03 also played their Academy team.
Surf Cup - All Academy and a couple reserves. That was a tournament for academies exclusively.
Pats Cup - One academy to-be player
NHB Cup - 0 Academy players

In big pic, it does not matter, boys have to play who they play and win or lose. It does make it hard to gauge what "team" is quality and where other true teams stack up. Technically it can become an issue if the placement in the summer tournaments has some bearing on the league division placement. It is just surprising that that team that did so well in summer tournaments is struggling currently in league. Coach em up coach!

OXNARD UNITED SC 2 VALLEY UNITED DELGADO 0

The sidetracks this thread takes is o_O which teams use guests or tryout players during summer tournaments; don't most?

Which teams have lower income players? Club is $ so not many, some sponsorship is going on and some places have lower fees and subsidies. Does one club do this better than other? can't really say I've seen any difference.

Relative age effect (RAE) is real but doesn't really matter that its been shifted, you must play the cards you're dealt. Not many clubs are playing players up anymore so that's too bad

Hahahaha!

1-0

Which game?
