Vets Park in Pomona needs to be the first to go in SoCal. It has more rubber pellets than turf now.

My son is a keeper, and after the turf games he has those pellets absolutely everywhere from sliding and diving in it. Its terrible, and scary. I, sadly, have no hope that the US will take that action after so many of these fields have already been laid down.

Agreed, Veterans Park is really bad. The field looks black.

We should just rip out grass and play on dirt. It seemed to work for the kids in Costa Rica when I was there last Spring.
