West Coast Futbol Classic (Tech Specs. Mini)
Bracket A
This group has Beach FC being the favorite and SDSC & Blues following right behind them. Both teams have had some good results against the top teams in the each group. With this group being 3 teams strong, not sure we'll see the Wild Card come out of here. Slammers will be the longshot in this group.
Bracket B
This is an interesting group as you have Legends as the clear favorite and you have a few scrappy teams that round out the group. CZ Elite will come to play and fight for every ball, and expect them to be confident on the ball in the attack. RSC has had some mixed results and could surprise one or two teams, while Hotspurs is just starting to try and put things together before going into league. With Legends most likely winning all 3 of their games, could we see someone step up and take the Wild Card from Bracket B?
Bracket C
Anaheim Surf is coming off a great run at Surf Cup and heads up the group with a gritty Blues - Holley and a very technical West Coast. WCFC did themselves no favors in this athletic grouping. They will be tested in trying to move the ball against teams with tough defenses. Another group that will tough to get a Wild Card out of.
Very good follow up to Surf Cup with the test being the brutal 3 game schedule for the 2 teams that will hope to come out of the championships crowned the winner on Sunday. 3 games in one day is no joke, keep those kids hydrated and resting in between games.

Very long tournament for these girls, competitive match ups in the Semi-Finals, and then the Finals as Anaheim Surf edges out Legends.
Hats off to West Coast for putting on a great tournament. The fields were awesome and so was the location of all our games. Beautiful park with plenty of shade.
The final was another hard fought battle with the Anaheim Surf (1-1). Once again going to pk's . Legends had their chances in pk's but this time it was the Surf who won the shoot out. Great job by all the girls out there this weekend. Congrats Surf !!
