Score in Slammers-Rangers game was close, but the game was nowhere near as close as the game score would suggest. There was only one weak dribbler of a shot on goal by Rangers. Rest of Rangers shots were way over the crossbar or way wide.

Slammers just had an off game with subpar ball movement and a lot of low percentage shots taken, and the Rangers goalie had a good game making some nice saves.

Not sure how anyone can conclude Rangers were better team. They parked the bus, which is how weaker teams play stronger teams, and their 1 or 2 striker attack with almost no midfield support was not dangerous at all.

Couple of tournaments were the comp was not particularly strong (mostly flight 1.5, Europa, SE teams) 18 players that do well when things go there way. Let's see how they do vs some tougher teams like Oxnard, TFA, etc in CRL

To a certain extent this is true, but it's due to the fact that most of the strong teams (Strikers, GS, new Galaxy team) are DA teams playing in DA League and DA only tournament brackets, so we can't play them.

Slammers Godinez only had a shot at two DA teams, Albion DA in Albion Cup and Real So Cal in West Coast Classic. They beat Albion DA and did not play Real So Cal because they were knocked out by West Coast Kirsch.
