IE Surf G06 Premier DO – Tryouts (2018-2019 Season)

IE Surf G06 Premier DO is looking to add players for the 2018-2019 Season. This will be our 2nd season playing for Coach Darrell O’Brien. Our girls had a very successful season with a good balance of development and competitive results. Our girls were a lower end Flight 1 squad in their first year together that is looking to solidify themselves among the very competitive SoCal landscape and keep on track with developing technical / analytical / creative players.
Coach O’Brien has over 23 years coaching experience in Southern California with runs at “Chino United, La Verne Lazers, Nitemares SC, Stampede, Legends, Arsenal, and IE Surf” working with both younger and older age groups. In the last 4 years he served as the assistant / goalkeeper coach on the IE Surf Premier 04 & 05 teams alongside Randle Bowling before becoming solely dedicated to this 06 team this past season.
Coach O’Brien continues to focus on technical development of players and possession concepts while creating a competitive and creative environment that challenges both the individual and the team.

IE Surf teams typically are based out of the IE Surf Complex in San Bernardino but we’re based out of San Dimas High School allowing for a more central location to serve both the Inland Empire and the San Gabriel Valley.

Roster Size (Anticipated):
16 Maximum
Returning Players:
We anticipate a return of 10-12 core players from the current team.

Skill Training, Shooting Clinics, Goal Keeper Training, and Sports Performance Training all offered at no additional cost to club members at the IE Surf Complex throughout the week.
