"The Pride and the Pain"

"The Pride and the Pain" - good read. I feel for the Dad --I'm sure he will receive a lot of criticism but I commend him for taking blame for his actions. We are not perfect and it's hard being a parent!!! Health and happiness should always be the priority--we just got to remember that sometimes!

Good for him for admitting his mistake and sharing his story to maybe open the eyes of other parents doing the same.

Good read. For every Lavar Ball you have a story like this and it makes you think.

I pushed my youngest DD and it payed off.

My Dad pushed my kid sister and it payed off.

Does anyone push their kids academically? I do.

Did this Dad push too hard? Seems like he did but in the article they interviewed other parents who said he was tough but have seen worse.

So where is the proverbial line? To me, each kid is different, and on top of that as the kid grows and matures the line moves back and forth.
