Surf Select West ID camps

Just curious of anyone has any details on these events.. are they only for surf club players? Is there a cost to each player if they get chosen? or are they free?

As far as I know, these are for players selected from the Surf affiliate clubs. Each club selects 4-5 players per age group. The goal is to create all-star teams at each age group and those teams would then play in Surf Cup and possibly an international tournament. There is a cost to do the camp, and I assume each event after that also has a cost.

I believe it's between $140-$175 per player for this weekend's tryout.
