When someone is going to be spending a lot of time with your kid, you should google him at a minimum.

Lots of stories of him being inebriated at practice and games as well as no shows. Outside mentioned on this site that he was almost punched by a parent at a game.

Not sure how he got away with driving the wrong way on the freeway, but I would say the negative comments about him on RateMySoccerCoach are pretty accurate. Surf gave him many chances but finally distanced themselves from him after the chase. And on his Facebook page he had the nerve to blame everyone else but himself. Unless he has found Jesus and turned his life around, I would not let my kid anywhere near him.
