Does anyone know about this one?

Just posted to Facebook.....

"The Southwest Super League is Southern California’s premier youth soccer league! Registration deadline closes on August 15th! Register today!"
 
SoCal Elite got booted from the SOCAL Soccer League because they couldn't follow the rules. Now they created their own league, because the only other option is CalSouth, which is pretty much done for. I don't know who would want to play in a league controlled by a club that has a history being loose with the rules.

3 questions this gives rise to:
1. Why would Fcgs who is a primary competitor go along? That’s the big one giving this cred
2. Ooof some of the teams are in Vegas? Since both SoCal elite and Fcgs are both in ea so that’s a long way to travel for third tier or less. One of the teams is in mountains so does that mean trekking in chains in the winter/spring?
3. Can you make a run of a league like this with only boys clubs? Why didn’t they then just join the mls2 attempt up in NorCal?

SoCal Elite has 22 teams in Coast Soccer, so they are still playing with Cal South. This is more like the Super Y where you play in it as well as your normal fall league.
 
This member clubs list is a lie…FCGS pulled out their one team as did Slammers and Sporting as it was just rogue coaches that had joined to try and get success. That leaves a bunch of random nobody knows clubs. Like the other poster said it’s just SCE leadership failing in an attempt to spite those who removed them for not following rules

parents and coaches of your calibre is exactly what’s wrong with youth sports. Focused on “name clubs” what a scumbag
 
Slammers, FCGS, Sporting and FC Premier are not in that league. That leaves a bunch of local "clubs" with maybe 1-2 age groups. One of them is Progressive Soccer Ozzy (PSO) LOL they're based out of West Covina and easily flight 4 level

If that's true - someone who has contacts with any of these clubs should consider letting them know their names/logos are still being used at this link:
