Anyone see Alex Morgan's new release "Alex & Me"? Yeah....I know....Alex Morgan isn't a great actress, but neither was Michael Jordan. Still, we liked it, it was cute, and it touched upon all our SoCal favorites: the coach who only cares about winning, the elite soccer club, the parent who tapes everything and pays his kid, and the clueless rec ball dad.
I think the kids should play other sports parents might disagree with it. One of the take-away messages for the kids is that they should practice soccer every day and from an early age to be really good. On the other hand, it also tells kids that you don't need to be a member of an elite team to be successful like Alex. Thoughts?
