Quite a few tournaments this weekend, post scores / results / comments here for:

Eagles summer classic:
Eagles and palm Desert won both games fairly easily today and will face off tomorrow morning to decide that bracket.
Looks like Fram has already punched their ticket to the Final in the other bracket.
Don't know anything about palm desert, but judging by their scores they should give us a good test.

Side note from our game against FC premier, our coach moved our players around the field. Worked on possession game and playing through the middle. Moved several of the girls into different positions.

Legends FC vs Legends FC south

Was a rematch of last nights game between Legends teams. It was a hard fought game with legends south scoring first, our legends FC team tied it in the second half. We won the game in overtime on a nice breakaway run. Congrats to Legends FC!

Nice! Looking forward to reuniting my girl with her team when we return going in to Surf Cup. Great job to the girls gaining some momentum going in!

The more this team plays together the better they'll get continuing to cause issues for opponents.
 
Eagles over Fram 2-0
Was one of the more physical games we have had in a while. Fram plays hard and physical and we can match that when needed. It ended up getting pretty ugly at points since the ref was very loosey goosey about what to call. Some hard fouls were overlooked and some minor or non fouls were called. It actually took the joy out of the game aside from the hooting and hollering at the ref. Fram will be a solid team throughout this year and have the players to develop into a top threat.

One of many "new" FC Premier teams this year in the 03-05 groups.
 
They've been bringing in coaches with partial teams, coaches with full teams, and coaches with no teams; last year's SCDSL team listings don't match up with this year's actual teams, although they have the same names.
