2006 Spring League? JR ECNL, Academy, SCDSL?

As we all know, this is a critical year where they go from 9 v 9 to the big field.
What are the clubs planning for this spring for this age group?
Is there options available this year such as JR ECNL, even though the club might not be an ECNL club, it seems to me that there were some exceptions made previously, or is there an Academy DPL option or are we back at the SCDSL spring which has taken a back seat to some extent.

Any information about what your team is planning would be appreciated.

Thanks

Skip a Spring League and focus on training and scrimmages!

Thanks for the advice. Really I am not being sarcastic here. You have a valid point and I appreciate the input.

However, I wasn't asking which is better since as a parent typically we don't make the ultimate decision what to participate in (generally). The club makes those decision to play spring league or not.

I was simply asking if your club had given any indication as to what they were doing for the spring season if anything.

Thanks

Our team plays in CSL, so we were presented with an option to play in CSL Spring League which is a reasonable fee and includes Spring League Cup.

However less and less teams do a formal league during spring so the travel could be really far during a time of year where we're really balancing giving the girls a break and easing back into it before summer.

We've decided not to play in any spring league, opting for training, futsal, and the occasional scrimmage through the Moreno Valley Boys League where we have the option of playing Girls / Boys, Same Age / Older.

In the Inland Empire there are options for mini league's / tournaments at Upland Indoor Arena, Claremont Futsal, Pomona Goals Complex, and Rancho Cucamonga Goals Complex. All those locations give you the flexibility to schedule during a time of year where kids play other sports, take vacations, etc.

EGSL will have a spring league. It will be open to all ECNL, DA clubs and Affiliates of these two. No US Club cards needed this year either.

Registration should be up this week.
