2018 - Cal South State Cup - Teams Posted (07s)

Any bracket w Surf is brutal for the others within it.

The other bracket has both Blues and Eagles, both formidable at 07.

I'm probably missing another BOD but I'm sure others will offer up their takes.
 
Strikers South Bay Black was in Group C has been moved to Governors.

Bracket C is left with
Blues
Eagles

Makes sense and I see where you were going with it. Typically the BOD has 3-4 teams that are very capable of making some big waves. I don’t see an issue with the teams you named advancing so I guess for the others it really will be a group of death.
 
Will be another fun State Cup. Just hoping for no Lancaster this year!
Will be interesting to see how some teams may have changed since the end of the league season.

Albion is the only one listed capable of making a run. You may be forgetting a team capable of making a Deep run.

Doubt its Lancaster. My money is on Silverlakes

Silverlakes would be good for the kids and families

Who am I forgetting that you are referring to?
 
I would say at this point Slammers seems to be the top team? They did run through everyone in league if I'm not mistaken?

Would not surprised me to see Albion eliminated in the 2nd round after bracket play. They play good soccer vs weak competition. Put a real team in front of them and the revert to playing kick ball. I expect one of the Legends teams to make a deep run. Slammers is very good. I don’t think they necessarily “ run through everyone”. SDSC played them real
close. We played them real tight and Surf tied them once I believe. I also think Eagles will be there. That team knows how to win and is very consistent.

Yeah I didn't mean Slammers would run through the tournament, just meant they seem to be playing very good right now and beat everyone in league so thought they would be the top team going in. Eagles and Blues always play good soccer so they will be there too. Going to be a great tournament, looking forward to watching, hopefully closer to San Diego:)
