Travel out of CA

I know that ECNL has been restricted from traveling to any out of state tournaments. Does anyone know if this applies to any other leagueS? GA or DPL? I assume since they are all under US youth soccer that the same restrictions would apply but to my knowledge, no one else has been told that they can not travel out of state.

There are California GA teams traveling to texas this weekend for the showcase but for some reason US soccer canceled the ECNL teams from going. This was strictly a US soccer decision I was told. Nothing to do with local texas travel restrictions .

Perhaps the Texas showcase told US soccer they wanted to limit the size of the showcase and team travel from out of state which is why ECNL teams from California were canceled?

My nieces and nephew plays ECRL and their team is participating in an out of state tournament... Feb and March, not sure if this helps answer your question or not. I can only assume ECRL has same rules but again you know the old saying about assuming stuff....
I know my kids ECNL teams out of state tournaments have been cancelled so far. @soccermail2020

So it looks like CA ECNL teams cannot participate in ECNL events, but perhaps they can participate in non ECNL events, like a regular soccer tournament? This is just what I am getting from reading it, please don't take this as set in stone.

I don't know much about GA or DPL, but if they're under US Club, I would assume the same would apply to them.. as I'm typing I realize I am no help at all to you so I will stop now.

So wouldn’t same apply to GA and DPL teams?
I don’t know if GA and DPL are restricting CA teams from their events.

US club does say that acting against state health guidance will invalidate their insurance. Doesn’t matter the league, tournament etc.

I believe the other soccer insurers (USYS, USSSA) have said the same?

So, CA teams might be able to travel to a tournament so long as the tournament does not deny them entry as ECNL did, but I believe those teams/clubs violating guidance will not be insured.
