Thoughts on clubs serving from the 8 coastal through East County

I'd like people's thoughts on clubs in this "Central SD to East County" region for boys in the 8-10 range. We are happy with our club and our coach, but we don't have the numbers to have multiple teams of various skill levels. I'm also not overly impressed with the commitment from some of our parents. We have a few kids that average 1 training session only per week.

Albion is a good choice.

Any particular reason(s) why? Do they feel like a huge club?
Our kid played for Albion for a little while and there are pros and cons. To me it did feel like a huge club, but there are tons of teams for every age with really solid top teams on the boys' side. An advantage to Albion is the opportunity to guest play on other teams. Kids can earn the opportunity to train with a higher level team or to play games with teams of varying levels/ages. Albion is more expensive than the clubs in east county. But honestly, I would say that unless your child is placed on the first or second team at Albion that you're likely going to be better served at a smaller club. Also Robb field is horrible for training. Other (smaller) options to consider would be East County Surf, Legends SD or maybe Sporting SD (fewer teams)....or maybe SD Surf Central, but I don't know much about them.
