Claine Plummer – LA Galaxy II Goalkeeper Coach
Plummer joined the LA Galaxy in 2017 with the role of Goalkeeper Coach for LA Galaxy II.
In addition, he currently works as the FIFA, CONCACAF and United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Instructor.
From 2006-2008, Plummer served as the goalkeeper coach at UCLA for the women's soccer program under Head Coach Jill Ellis from 2006-08 with two consecutive Final Four participations.
In 2009, he joined his alma mater, Cal State University Los Angeles as the goalkeeper coach for both the men's and women's soccer programs.
Plummer served as the goalkeeper coach at the Academy of Chivas USA for the U-20, U-18 and U-16 teams through 2010-12. From 2012-2014, he worked for the MLS team of Chivas USA.
In 2015, he joined the Real Salt Lake Academy as the Director of Goalkeeping. He also was a part of the Jamaican National Team who won the historic second place in the 2015 Gold Cup.
As a player, Plummer was the starting goalkeeper at Cal State University Los Angeles from 1994-97. He still owns the second-lowest goals against average in school history (1.30). In 1998, he played in the A-League for the El Paso Patriots.
In his native country, Plummer was acquired by Costa Rican first division team Limonense F.C. He also served as the former Costa Rican Youth National Team goalkeeper for the U-17, U-19 and U-23 National Team.
