Should Alex Morgan be put on USMNT because they suck?

Frustrating loss yesterday for USMNT precipitated by a lack of discipline/composure by Weah (he owned it fully on his instragram post). Silver lining is that Berhalter should get the axe if they crash out of the tournament in the group stages. Way too inconsistent over the past few years. A lot of good players so hopefully we can find the men's equivalent of Emma Hayes for the USMNT. Is there some way we could sweeten the deal for Klopp to come over to the States? Could be a gig through the WC until he decides to get back into club football. Just dreaming ...

That's still 2 more than USMNT have scored so far against "weak" competition in COPA!!!!
Playing man down for most of the game is hard to do, against any team.
But she would probably be a better fit on the Mexican National team since they don't have any striker and they choked against Venezuela

Would have liked to see Jesse Marsh as the HC. Or take a chance on Tata Martino.

The rehiring of Berhalter is just more evidence of how incompetent (or potentially corrupt) US Soccer is.

Uruguay is full of men, not little boys.... Good luck with the 10 player excuse...

The "Chicago Scene" of US Soccer is moving to Atlanta... The National Training Center that is... Chicago politics are the worst- dead bodies everywhere... Nowhere is any sport more politicized than US womens and mens soccer- They "woaked" themselves right off the World Cup pitch with Rapinoe, Morgan and the rest of the "over the hill gang"... But they were "representative" of us, at least by Chi-town standards....

I think the answer is very simple for the men. We still don't have a world class winger/forward nor a top-level striker. Think of all the best countries in the world and most will have at least one, and many will have two or three on the frontline. France, Belgium, England, Brasil, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, Portugal, Germany etc etc.

Who doesn't? A lot...including, USA, Mexico, Italy

I don't care which coach you hire/fire. If the players aren't world class forwards, you're not scoring sh*t.

USA should spend all their resources to finding our Mbappe, Raphina, Kane, Diaz, Nunez, Lukaku, etc. Maybe try the playgrounds instead of the parent-run club soccer fields? In a country our size, I guarantee there's at least one or two out there.
