News from Cal South?

There's a huge amount of confusion about what's going on and no word whatsoever from Cal South. We don't need a referee spotlight, my dudes, we need news about what activities are permitted and where. We need this news *today*. It's mind-boggling that Cal South isn't providing solid guidance here-- what is going on? Why is this like pulling teeth to get updates about league play, tournaments, etc?

I dont think the dudes have much news. Were all confused, trust me. I havent heard from my my club in while. They said they will get back to us when the Governor has plans for us. No one know nothing except the one's up at the top. We have to obey all the rules Not. My friend just quit his job. Last year he made $140,000 and was on pace for $160,000 this year before Corona hit us all. He now takes home $4900 a month after taxes. No more commission or bonus. 20 years building his resume and now no one to fall back on like other professions who have really nice retirements and so many nice benefits. . He's driving out to where me and Bruno got some land and might grab 2 acres for $20,000. Air stream and then start building his place. He's going ahead of me. My wife will never inject poison sh*t and we all know that will be 100% forced on us here in Cali. I swear I'm not afraid of riots and all that civil war stuff.

Calsouth got their huge PPE $$ handout your registration fees, CRL money so don't expect much.

They blow it already on the wishful thinking return to play with "day camps" without consulting with the state heath dept and that wavier where they don't want to take any risk for anything.

maybe this time they will actually do something to move youth sports guidance along instead of trying to ride the coattails of others.

A little birdie told me -- Turner won the Cal South election for President, but some BOD members wanted him to quit as Presidio League President first. According to the latest Presidio Meeting minutes (June), he is still Presidio President, and the Cal South BOD accepted that situation (not unanimously, as you can see in the minutes).

I never had any problems with Turner at Presidio or the tournaments that he directed for San Diego clubs.
